Knitting: M1 p-st (make 1 purl stitch)
In knitting, M1 p-st (short for Make 1 Purl Stitch) means you’re creating a new stitch on a purl row, using the bar (strand) between two stitches — but done in a way that keeps the increase nearly invisible from the right side.
It’s the purl-side version of the standard “Make 1” (M1) increase.
