Knitting: Grafting

Grafting uses a yarn needle and a tapestry yarn tail to weave a new row between two pieces of live stitches, mimicking the path of knitted stitches.

When done correctly, it creates a smooth, invisible join — as if the fabric was never cut or bound off.
